Action Bearing Distributors Pty Ltd was formed in April 1977
with a view to supply a complete range of bearing products coupled
with unparalleled customer service never before experienced in
the bearing industry.
Throughout the first decade of operation, the company operated
from a single premise in Brooklyn, Victoria providing quality
bearing products, whilst fostering and maintaining close relationships
with Customers and Suppliers alike. During the 1990’s,
with the emergent need for bearing products and the acquisition
by NSK Japan of RHP UK, the company expanded its operations
to Reservoir, Altona and Braeside before broadening its
interests interstate, including affiliate branches in South Australia
and New South Wales.
At the turn of the new century, with the increasing demand
for linear motion components & technology coupled with Industry’s
expectation of total quality service at lowest cost distribution,
the company underwent an extensive and defining re-structuring
program. In November of 2002, the company implemented a ‘continuous
improvement mission’ tailored to lower supply and distribution
channel costs and designed to broaden access to complete and
comprehensive Linear Bearing product ranges including ball
bushings, precision shafts, profile rail guides, and other
associated product
as required by our customers.
Since our beginning more than 25 years ago, Action Bearing
Distributors has earned a reputation as specialist suppliers
of Industrial
and Linear Bearing products with integrated supply capabilities
through long established and strategic alliances, with access
to many of the world’s leading precision manufacturers,
including NSK/RHP, Torrington, Timken, IKO & Nachi.
